About
At All Gassed Up Garage, we carry forward the automotive character of a circa-1950 service station standing along McLean’s historic Route 66 alignment. The one-story station was built with the straightforward postwar design common to the era, including a broad flat canopy with rounded corners, twin service bays and horizontal architectural bands across the building. Its original fuel brand remains uncertain; surviving design details suggest it may once have operated as either a Magnolia or Conoco station.
Today, we’re part of the continuing car culture surrounding Route 66 in McLean. The old station remains an unmistakable piece of the town’s roadside landscape, and the property has also become a gathering point for automotive enthusiasts. In 2026, All Gassed Up Garage hosted the My Car’s Hotter Than Yours Car Show & Music Festival, bringing classic cars, live music, food and vendors to the site and downtown McLean.
