We’ve been serving up shaved ice, coffee, and sweet treats along Route 66 in Miami since 2016, when The Frozen Elephant was started by local entrepreneur Eli Chenoweth while he was still a teenager. What began as a small shaved ice stand has grown into a Miami favorite, with dozens of flavors alongside specialty coffees, smoothies, breakfast items, and other treats.

Our South Main location brings our love for Route 66 together with another piece of Miami history. The shop sits beside the historic Hudson Station, a vintage service station rescued and relocated by Eli as part of an effort to preserve Miami’s roadside heritage and bring new life to South Main Street.

Whether you’re starting the day with coffee, cooling off with shaved ice, or simply looking for a fun local stop along the Mother Road, we’re proud to be part of the Route 66 experience in Miami.
