The Miami 66 Heritage Mural celebrates the people, places and roadside heritage that have shaped Miami and its connection to Route 66. Created by local artist Jessica Stout, the mural transforms the side of the Ottawa County United Way building into a colorful oversized postcard welcoming travelers along the Mother Road.

The word MIAMI dominates the design, with each letter filled with imagery representing the community's history and identity. Among the scenes are recognizable Miami landmarks, Route 66 imagery and references to the people and culture of northeastern Oklahoma. A massive Oklahoma Route 66 shield anchors the mural, making the artwork an unmistakable tribute to Miami's place along America's most famous highway.

The mural is part of Miami's growing collection of public art celebrating the community and its Route 66 heritage. The building remains home to Ottawa County United Way, a longtime Miami nonprofit serving organizations throughout the county.
