About
Since 1961, we’ve been preserving and sharing the history of Kingman, Mohave County and the greater Southwest. Our museum tells the story of a remarkable region shaped by Native peoples, pioneers, miners, ranchers, railroaders, merchants and travelers who left their mark on northwest Arizona.
Inside, you’ll find exhibits, artifacts, photographs and displays exploring the people, industries and events that shaped the area, including the important role transportation and Route 66 played in connecting Kingman to the rest of the country.
Whether you’re traveling the Mother Road or simply curious about the history of the Southwest, we invite you to come inside, explore the collections and discover the stories behind the landscape and communities you see today.
