At the Mohave Museum of History and Arts, we bring the story of northwestern Arizona to life, from its earliest inhabitants through the communities that shaped the region today. Our exhibits explore Native American heritage, mining, ranching, railroads, pioneer life and the people who helped build Kingman and Mohave County.

Throughout the museum, dioramas, murals, photographs and historic artifacts tell those stories in a way that connects visitors with the landscape they're traveling through. You'll also find a special exhibit dedicated to Kingman native and Hollywood actor Andy Devine, along with outdoor displays featuring historic ranching and mining equipment and a 1923 railroad caboose.

For travelers exploring Route 66, we're a chance to discover the larger story surrounding the Mother Road and understand the people, industries and history that made Kingman one of northern Arizona's most important crossroads
