The Old 76 Station

About

Welcome to the Old 76 Station, where Route 66 history has found new life. Originally built in the 1960s as a Union 76 gas station and automotive garage, the station served generations of travelers crossing northern Arizona before eventually falling silent as traffic shifted away from the Mother Road.

For years, the building stood abandoned, becoming a familiar landmark for Route 66 explorers passing through the tiny community of Valentine. Today, thanks to a passionate restoration, the station has been transformed into a welcoming weekend beer and wine bar and grill while preserving the character and charm that made it a roadside icon.

Whether you're stopping in for a cold drink, a bite to eat, or an old-fashioned root beer float, you'll experience a place where classic Route 66 nostalgia meets small-town hospitality. Surrounded by the history of Valentine—including the site of the original Valentine Post Office, famous for its annual Valentine's Day postmarks—the Old 76 Station continues its tradition of welcoming travelers from around the world.
