About Us

About

Welcome to Gary's Gay Parita, where we're proud to preserve the spirit of one of Route 66's most beloved roadside landmarks. Originally established in 1930, our Sinclair station served travelers during the golden age of the Mother Road before the original building was lost to fire. Thanks to the passion and dedication of Gary Turner, the station was faithfully rebuilt near its original location, bringing this iconic stop back to life for future generations.

Today, we invite travelers from around the world to step back in time and experience a classic Route 66 service station complete with vintage Sinclair memorabilia, antique gas pumps, historic signs, nostalgic displays, and plenty of stories from the road. While we no longer pump gasoline, we still fuel Route 66 adventures with warm hospitality, photo opportunities, souvenirs, and a genuine love for preserving the Mother Road.

Whether you're driving the entire route or simply passing through southwest Missouri, we invite you to stop by, look around, and become part of the continuing story of Gary's Gay Parita. We're always happy to welcome fellow Route 66 enthusiasts and share a little piece of America's most famous highway.
