Murals of Cuba

About

Known as Route 66 Mural City, Cuba has transformed its streets and buildings into an outdoor gallery celebrating the people, places, and stories that shaped the community.

Throughout town, murals bring Cuba’s history to life, from early industries and local businesses to transportation, notable residents, military history, and the people who called this area home long before Route 66 arrived. Many of the murals are accompanied by interpretive markers, allowing visitors to discover the stories behind the artwork as they explore.

What began as a community beautification effort has grown into one of Cuba’s defining attractions. Today, the murals create a walkable journey through local history and offer travelers another reason to slow down, explore downtown, and discover the stories behind this colorful stop on the Mother Road.
