Murals of Miami brings together the colorful public art found throughout Miami, Oklahoma, much of it along or just steps from historic Route 66.

Over the years, walls throughout downtown and the surrounding community have become canvases for local and visiting artists. The collection ranges from Route 66 imagery and Miami history to Native culture, wildlife, abstract art and contemporary designs. Many of the works were created through community art initiatives and Miami's annual Mural Fest 66, which brought artists together to transform ordinary walls into public works of art.

Today, the murals have become part of the experience of exploring Miami. Some are impossible to miss from Route 66, while others are tucked along side streets, alleys and unexpected corners of town. Together they create an evolving outdoor gallery that tells pieces of Miami's story through art.
